Spicy Avocado Hummus
You will need:
1 can of cooked chickpeas
¼ cup Earnest Eats Smashed Avocado
1 medium lemon
¼ cup tahini (fresh or store bought)
3 tbsp of olive oil
Heavy dash of cumin
Heavy dash paprika
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon minced garlic
Salt to taste
1-3 tbsp water if needed to thin it out
Step1: Pour almost ¼ cup (leaving a little room to add water) of Earnest Eats Smashed Avocado into a bowl. Pro tip: Break up Avocado smash in bag before pouring out. Add a little water, and smash with a fork to get a thick or creamy consistency.
Step 2:Combine everything listed above except chickpeas into a food processor until well combined for about 2 minutes.
Step3: add chickpeas and continue to blend until smooth. Add in 1-3 tbsp water to make a fluffier hummus. Refrigerate until chilled or ready to serve.
